Police File Case Against Former YSRCP MLA Over Alleged Verbal Abuse

A case has been registered against YSRCP leader and former Srikalahasti MLA Biyyapu Madhusudhan Reddy. On Saturday, officials undertook the demolition of unauthorized constructions along the banks of the Swarnamukhi River. Upon learning of the activity, Madhusudhan Reddy, accompanied by his followers, rushed to the site and expressed anger at the officials for proceeding without prior notice.

During the confrontation, he allegedly used offensive language against the municipal staff. A related video circulated widely on social media, drawing public attention. Following the incident, Municipal Town Planning Officer Sharada lodged a complaint at the police station, accusing the former MLA of verbally abusing them while they were performing their official duties.

Based on the complaint, the Srikalahasti Town Police have registered a case against Madhusudhan Reddy under relevant sections of the law.
