Telangana’s Economic Setback Due to Administrative Failures: KTR

BRS Party Working President K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) launched a fresh attack on the Revanth Reddy-led Telangana government, expressing concern over the state's regression. He criticized the administration for neglecting governance and prioritizing vendetta-driven actions.

"Under K. Chandrashekar Rao's (KCR) decade-long leadership, Telangana made remarkable progress. However, under Revanth Reddy's rule marked by inexperience, incompetence, and corruption, the state is regressing across all sectors," KTR alleged.

Highlighting the decline in revenue from the transport department, KTR emphasized its significance as an indicator of the state's economic growth. "When people's living standards improve, their financial conditions strengthen, resulting in increased sales and registrations of vehicles like bikes, cars, and heavy vehicles. However, Telangana has seen a decline in vehicle registrations, signaling economic regression," he claimed.

He further pointed out that five neighboring states recorded transport revenue growth between 8% and 32% in 2024, while Telangana registered lower growth compared to 2023, attributing it to the government's inefficiency.

KTR also shared a newspaper clipping featuring vehicle sales and registration statistics to support his claims.
