Jagan Condemns Allu Arjun's Arrest

YSRCP leader and former Chief Minister Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy has strongly condemned the arrest of popular actor Allu Arjun. In a statement made on the social media platform X, Jagan criticized the move, questioning its appropriateness in light of recent events.

The controversy arose after a tragic stampede at the Sandhya Theater in Hyderabad, which resulted in the death of a woman. Expressing condolences, Jagan stated, "The loss suffered by the family of the deceased is irreplaceable." He acknowledged that Allu Arjun had expressed deep regret over the incident and had pledged to support the grieving family in a responsible manner.

Jagan, however, questioned the rationale behind holding Allu Arjun accountable for the incident. “Despite having no direct involvement in the stampede, filing criminal charges and arresting him is unjustifiable,” Jagan remarked. He reiterated his strong opposition to the actor's arrest and emphasized that it was unwarranted.

Several YSRCP leaders, including Ambati Rambabu, echoed Jagan’s sentiments, denouncing the arrest as unnecessary and inappropriate.
