Case Filed Against MLC Kavitha's Uncle in Nizamabad - Here’s Why
A police case has been registered against BRS MLC Kavitha’s uncle, Ram Kishan Rao, following a land dispute in Nizamabad. The conflict involves a plot near RKR Apartments, where Ram Kishan Rao and Congress leader Mainampalli Hanumantha Rao’s relative, Nagesh Kumar, are at odds. Nizamabad Rural Police Station SHO Mohammad Arif confirmed that two cases have been filed in connection with the matter.
Gopi, a resident of RKR Apartments, lodged a complaint with the police alleging that some individuals attempted to encroach on the road space in front of the apartment. He stated that when they tried to stop the encroachment, they were threatened. Gopi further alleged that the followers of Kishan Rao insulted them using casteist slurs and even resorted to physical assault. Following the complaint, the police registered a case against Ram Kishan Rao, former corporator’s husband Sudham Ramchand, Nagesh, and others. An investigation into the matter is currently underway.
Meanwhile, Nagesh Kumar asserted that the disputed land belongs to him. Denying the encroachment allegations, he claimed that he possesses valid registration documents proving ownership. He filed a complaint at the police station on Thursday, asserting that Ram Kishan Rao has no connection to the land. Based on this complaint, police registered another case involving Rao, Gopi, and several others.
