Pushpa 2 Surpasses Shah Rukh Khan's Box Office Records

The action-packed film Pushpa-2, directed by Sukumar and starring Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, and Fahadh Faasil, has set new box office records. Since its release on December 5, the film has been creating a collection storm across all languages, especially dominating the Hindi market with unprecedented success.

According to SACNilk, Pushpa-2 earned ₹593.1 crore within just five days of release, surpassing the lifetime collection of Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan, which grossed ₹582.31 crore worldwide. This remarkable feat highlights the film’s tremendous popularity and widespread acceptance.

Additionally, Pushpa-2 has become the fastest Indian film to cross the ₹300 crore mark in the Hindi market, achieving this milestone within just five days. In contrast, Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan and Pathaan took more than six days to reach the same figure.

However, reports indicate that the film’s collections saw a noticeable dip on Monday, following its record-breaking opening weekend.

Pushpa-2 is the sequel to the 2021 blockbuster Pushpa: The Rise and features an ensemble cast, including Sunil, Anasuya Bharadwaj, and Jagapathi Babu in pivotal roles, further enhancing its star power.
