Manchu Manoj Responds to Father Mohan Babu’s Complaint

Telugu actor and filmmaker Manoj Manchu has publicly refuted allegations made against him and his wife, Mounika, by his father, veteran actor Dr. M. Mohan Babu. In a detailed press statement, Manoj described the accusations as “malicious, false, and baseless,” accusing his father and brother, Vishnu Manchu, of orchestrating a campaign to defame him and create discord within the family.

Manoj categorically denied claims that he depended on family wealth or sought any share in the family’s properties. “We are self-employed, independent, and have lived with dignity. To suggest otherwise is absurd and malicious,” he asserted. Manoj clarified that he moved into the family home over a year ago to support his mother after his brother shifted to Dubai. He emphasized that this was done at the insistence of his father and close friends, as his mother was alone at the time. Manoj called on authorities to verify his residence history using mobile phone location data to confirm his version of events.

The actor also expressed outrage over his seven-month-old daughter being included in the allegations, describing it as “appalling and inhumane.” He questioned the intent behind dragging his child into the matter and defended his wife, Mounika, stating that she has always upheld the family’s name with integrity.

Raising concerns about missing CCTV footage, Manoj alleged that Vishnu’s associates, Vijay Reddy and Kiran, tampered with evidence to fabricate allegations against him. “This tampering raises serious questions and begs the question: what are they trying to hide?” he asked, calling for an investigation. Manoj also alleged that nannies working in the household faced harassment and intimidation but were too afraid to speak out.

Manoj accused Vishnu of misusing family resources while sidelining him and sabotaging his career projects, including Aham Brahmasmi. He emphasized that he has never sought financial assistance or inheritance, adding, “My life has been built on my own merit, and I take pride in raising my children with dignity.”

Manoj linked the timing of the allegations to his public support for local businesses and students at MBU, claiming it was an attempt to discredit him for exposing financial irregularities involving Vishnu and his associates. He pledged to continue fighting for truth and fairness, expressing confidence in the authorities to conduct a fair investigation.

“This is not about inheritance or property—it is about truth and justice,” Manoj concluded, calling for family unity while reaffirming his commitment to protecting the family’s name.
