Delhi Sees Poster War Between AAP and BJP in Pushpa-2 Style
A political poster war has erupted between the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Delhi, inspired by the blockbuster film Pushpa-2. As the Delhi Assembly elections approach, political tension between the ruling and opposition parties has intensified in the national capital.
Drawing from the popular film’s visuals, AAP released a poster featuring Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in Pushpa-2 style. The poster, titled “Kejriwal Jhukega Nahi” ("Kejriwal Will Not Bow Down"), shows Kejriwal holding a broom, mirroring the film's iconic look featuring actor Allu Arjun.
Responding swiftly, the BJP countered with its own Pushpa-themed poster featuring Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva. The poster declared, “We Will Eradicate the Corrupt... Rappa... Rappa”, playing on the movie’s popular catchphrase.
Since 2013, AAP has maintained political dominance in Delhi, winning assembly elections in 2013, 2015, and 2020.
