Google Representatives Meet Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy

Representatives from Google met with Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy at his residence in Jubilee Hills. The meeting was part of Google’s agreement with the Telangana government to establish a Google Safety Engineering Center (GSEC) in Hyderabad.

Google CIO Royal Hansen, Arijit Sarkar, and Srinivas Reddy were present during the meeting, where CM Revanth Reddy expressed his gratitude to them. Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister highlighted Telangana’s leading role in digital skill development and stated that Hyderabad has become a hub for IT companies.

The establishment of the Google Safety Engineering Center is expected to address global cybersecurity challenges from Hyderabad. CM Revanth Reddy noted that leading technology firms like Google, Microsoft, Apple, Amazon, and Meta have already set up their headquarters in Hyderabad. He also emphasized that the GSEC initiative will create more job opportunities in Hyderabad.
