Botsa Satyanarayana Criticizes Pawan Kalyan and Sharmila
YSRCP MLC and former minister Botsa Satyanarayana launched strong criticisms against AP Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan and Andhra Pradesh Congress Chief Y.S. Sharmila. Responding to Pawan Kalyan's claims that rice is being smuggled from Kakinada Port, Botsa questioned, "Who asked authorities not to take action against smugglers?"
Mocking Pawan Kalyan's remarks, Botsa compared his behavior to a scene from Gabbar Singh-3. He further asked whether such activities could take place without the involvement of relevant officials, suggesting a deeper accountability. Botsa clarified that he does not doubt Pawan's integrity but shared an anecdote about his own early days as a minister in 2004. He recalled how he initially believed that ministers held immense power, only to later realize the complexities of governance, humorously summarizing the transition from saying "Hoo?" to "Oh!"
Turning his attention to Y.S. Sharmila, Botsa remarked that she is not speaking like a political party leader. He stated that while she may be recognized by some, "we don’t even acknowledge her." Botsa advised Sharmila to focus on broader issues as a Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) president instead of targeting individuals. Recalling his tenure as a former PCC president, he emphasized the responsibilities of the position and suggested Sharmila take a more constructive approach.
