YS Jagan to Begin District Tours in January
YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) chief and former Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is preparing to connect directly with the public. He has planned field-level visits, scheduling district tours for two days each week starting after Sankranti. Jagan disclosed these details himself during a meeting with local body representatives from the undivided Krishna district at the Tadepalli camp office on Friday.
During the meeting, Jagan stated that he would visit districts as part of a parliamentary unit initiative after Sankranti. He mentioned that he would dedicate every Wednesday and Thursday to district-level interactions and strengthen ties with party workers. Jagan also directed the completion of appointments for various divisions within the party, from district to mandal levels, by January.
Jagan emphasized the importance of social media presence for leaders at every level, from village representatives to MLAs and MPs. He urged them to promptly record and upload videos whenever injustices occur. Criticizing the governance in the state, Jagan stated that a "Red Book Constitution" was being implemented. He advised questioning the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and its leader, Chandrababu Naidu, at every village level. He alleged that Chandrababu came to power by deceiving people with unachievable promises.
Jagan highlighted that while people initially believed in Chandrababu's promises, the truth became evident within six months. He claimed that discussions about the failures of the TDP were taking place in every household. He further alleged that every system in the state had collapsed under the TDP's governance.
