Political Storm in Parliament: Rahul Gandhi Demands Adani's Arrest

Allegations of Adani Group paying ₹2,200 crore in bribes to various politicians and officials for securing solar energy contracts have caused a political uproar in India. The issue has disrupted both Houses of Parliament. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi made bold statements in the Lok Sabha, accusing the central government of shielding Adani and demanding his immediate arrest.

Rahul Gandhi questioned why hundreds are arrested for minor issues while Adani, facing serious bribery allegations, is not jailed. He also pointed out that Adani has denied the corruption allegations outright.

In response, BJP MP Mahesh Jethmalani criticized Congress, accusing it of exploiting the Adani issue for political gains. He argued that blindly following allegations raised in U.S. courts was inappropriate.
