Former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh and YSR Congress Party Chief Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy has come under fire from Telugu Desam Party leader Devineni Uma, who has made sensational allegations against him. Devineni Uma accused Jagan of plundering the state's natural resources indiscriminately during his five-year rule. He alleged that Jagan illegally extracted iron ore from the Obulapuram mines despite central agencies' seizures, claiming that 100,000 tons of minerals were covertly sold to a private steel plant.

Devineni Uma further criticized Jagan for abusing his power to hinder investigations and for neglecting public needs, instead focusing on amassing wealth and filling the Tadepalli treasury.
