Kavitha Faces Setback in CBI Court... Judicial Remand Extended

BRS MLC Kavitha's judicial remand has been extended by the trial court in the Delhi liquor policy case. The Rouse Avenue CBI special court has extended her judicial remand until July 18. Kavitha's judicial remand in the CBI case was supposed to end today.

 Consequently, she was presented in court via video conference. Kavitha is currently in Tihar Jail in connection with the liquor policy case. The CBI arrested her on April 11.

Earlier, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) had also arrested her. After interrogating her in Tihar Jail, the CBI announced her arrest. Kavitha has been in jail for a long time due to both ED and CBI cases. Although she has filed bail petitions, they have been repeatedly rejected by the court.
