Amaravati: Mudragada Padmanabham, who had previously challenged that he would change his name if Pawan Kalyan won in Pithapuram, has now officially changed his name to Padmanabhareddy. Following Pawan Kalyan's victory in Pithapuram, social media was abuzz with trolls questioning when Mudragada would change his name. Some individuals even conducted mock naming ceremonies using his photo.

Responding to the trolling, Mudragada announced through the media that he would change his name to Padmanabhareddy. Subsequently, he applied to the government for the name change. Recently, a gazette notification was issued confirming the change of his name from Mudragada Padmanabham to Mudragada Padmanabhareddy.
