Amaravati: Former Chief Minister Jagan recently raised doubts about the performance of EVMs in the latest elections through a tweet. TDP leaders are expressing their anger over this. TDP leaders are sharing a video of Jagan's comments from the 2019 elections praising the EVMs' performance, criticizing the YSRCP's stance.
Recently, TDP National General Secretary and Minister Nara Lokesh also responded on this issue. "Jagan, you must accept the people's verdict. You do not respect democracy. You have been systematically destroying institutions and platforms set up to protect the rights of the people. You have demolished, with a single stroke, what the people of Andhra Pradesh have built collectively over the years.
When you won in 2019, did the EVMs work well? And now, if you lose in 2024, will you blame the EVMs? What hypocrisy! You should realize by now that the people have completely rejected you because of your failures during your tenure.
By the way, when are you returning the furniture? Why did you spend Rs. 560 crores, which should have been used for the poor, on your Rushikonda palace? The people of Andhra Pradesh are seeking answers to these questions," tweeted Nara Lokesh.
