Chandrababu Naidu targets Jagan in Nandyal rally, alleges corruption and misgovernance

Banganapalle: TDP leader Chandrababu Naidu is vigorously campaigning for the upcoming elections with a public rally, currently taking place in Banganapalle, Nandyal district. Upon his arrival by helicopter in Banganapalle, TDP candidate BC Janardhan Reddy and other leaders warmly welcomed Chandrababu Naidu, who then proceeded to conduct a roadshow. He is presently addressing the public at the petrol pump circle.

During his speech, Chandrababu Naidu stated that TDP was the harbinger of political and industrial revolutions. He highlighted that numerous industries were established during TDP's tenure and credited the party's founder, NTR, for focusing on the welfare of the poor, including the initiative to provide rice at Rs. 2 per kilo. He emphasized TDP's goal of generating wealth and distributing it to the poor and mentioned the party's commitment to linking rivers and the 72% completion of the Polavaram project under their regime, criticizing its halt post YSRCP's ascendancy.

Chandrababu lambasted CM Jagan for leaving Andhra Pradesh without a capital and described the alliance of TDP, Jana Sena, and BJP as a measure to save the state. He boasted about making Hyderabad a globally recognized city and criticized Jagan for implementing welfare schemes through loans, alleging that without loans, such schemes wouldn't exist. He accused Jagan of leading the state to bankruptcy and stated that removing Jagan from power was their primary goal, mentioning that failing to do so would jeopardize the future. He promised Rs. 1,500 to every girl child, assuring benefits for each family member.

Expressing concern over poor-quality liquor consumption leading to health issues and deaths, Chandrababu claimed to have expedited projects worth Rs. 12,000 crores, in contrast to Jagan's expenditure of only Rs. 2,000 crores and criticized him for canceling 102 projects. He accused Jagan of deceiving the unemployed by not releasing job notifications, asserting that providing jobs was his responsibility. He concluded by alleging that a container supposed to carry kitchen utensils and furniture to the CM's residence was actually filled with corrupt money prepared for the elections, and accused Jagan of resorting to sympathy-seeking tactics through staged dramas.
