Mangalagiri MLA Alla Ramakrishna Reddy returns to YSRCP fold

Amaravati: Mangalagiri MLA Alla Ramakrishna Reddy has rejoined the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP). He was formally welcomed back into the party in the presence of Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy. The CM warmly invited Ramakrishna Reddy (RK) into the party fold by draping a party shawl around him. RK, accompanied by his brother and Member of Parliament Ayodhya Rami Reddy, visited the Tadepalli camp office for this occasion.

In December, he had resigned from the YSRCP membership and his MLA position. However, Speaker Tammineni Sitaram has not yet made a decision regarding his resignation. Recently, RK had joined the Congress party. Last night, senior YSRCP leader Vijayasai Reddy held lengthy discussions with RK, persuading him to return to the YSRCP. Meanwhile, there is strong speculation that RK might be entrusted with leading the YSRCP to victory in Mangalagiri.
