Kangana Ranaut hints at foraying into politics, says ready to serve people

Mumbai: Will Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut foray into politics? Kangana hinted that she was willing to do so. In response to a question asked at 'India Today Conclave', Kangana said that if she gets a chance to serve the people of Himachal Pradesh, she will join politics and consider it her luck.

She gave a straight answer that she is ready to join politics if BJP gives her a ticket in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Supporting the BJP in the upcoming Himachal Pradesh Assembly elections, Kangana said people will not believe Aam Aadmi Party's bogus promises and AAP's "freebies" will not work in Himachal Pradesh.

She further stated that education and health are the top priorities and underscored the need for a good education in Himachal Pradesh in the model of Gurukuls. “Girls in the state need more opportunities and there should be more seats in national colleges and universities for Himachal students,” she opined.

Meanwhile, in her career, Kangana will currently be seen in the film 'Emergency'. She will play the role of Indira Gandhi in this. The first look of this has also been released. Notably, she is also directing the movie.
