No photo on flexi: Ex-MLC Buddha Venkanna abruptly leaves TDP meeting

Vijayawada, September 13: Former Telugu Desam MLC Buddha Venkanna became emotional and tears rolled from his eyes on not finding his photo on a flexi set up on the stage for combined Krishna district TDP extended meeting held here on Tuesday. 
 
Despite inviting him on to the stage, Venkanna and his followers sat in the auditorium along with other TDP functionaries. Former minister Kollu Ravindra personally requested him to come on to the dais but Buddha rejected his plea and told him that he was insulted. Later, he left the venue abruptly.
 
Speaking to the media, Venkanna stated that the TDP leaders did not change their style of functioning even after reprimanded by party chief N. Chandrababu Naidu few days ago. To a question, he mentioned that he was not upset for not printing his photo on flexi. He made it clear that his aim is to bring back Chandrababu-led TDP to power.
