Hyd: Funeral procession of actor Krishnam Raju begins from Jubilee Hills

Hyderabad, September 12: The funeral procession of veteran Telugu actor and former Union Minister U. Krishnam Raju began from his residence at Jubilee Hills here on Monday afternoon. All arrangements were made to cremate the body at actor’s farmhouse in Moinabad. Fans from Telugu states are arriving to have a last glimpse of departed actor. 
 
Earlier, Krishnam Raju’s family members decided to cremate Krishnam Raju’s body at Mahaprasthanam in Jubilee Hills. But they changed their decision on the advice of pandits. Even, the timings of cremation were changed from afternoon to evening.
 
The Telangana government will perform last rites of Krishnam Raju with full State honours. To avoid stampede, only family members and relative in limited number will be allowed inside the farmhouse to attend cremation. On Monday, former Vice President of India M. Venkaiah Naidu, AP Minister Roja Selvamani, actress-turned-politician Jaya Prada and other prominent personalities paid tributes to Krishnam Raju.
