UK visa to Indian students in 1 day under super priority: British High Commissioner
New Delhi, August 31: British High Commissioner to India Alex Ellis posted a video on Twitter issuing an advisory for Indian students interested to pursue higher studies in the United Kingdom (UK). He made an appeal to students to apply visas from now onwards for the next academic year.
Alex Ellis stated that the UK wants to issue more visas to Indian students compared to previous years. “We are granting priority and super priority visas for Indian students,” he revealed and explained that visas under priority category will be processed within five working days and visas in the category of super priority will be cleared in one day.
The British Ambassador to India mentioned that students should have documents such as offer letter from university, TB certificate and proof of funding. “India is the largest source country of students to Britain,” he added. Currently, student visas are processed in 15 to 20 days.
