Modi govt obstructing Telangana development: KCR
Hyderabad, August 12: Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) came down heavily on BJP-led NDA government at Centre for obstructing development in Telangana. He made these allegations while chairing a Cabinet meeting held here on Thursday.
“Modi government is stalling growth in the state which is progressing at a rapid pace,” he said and directed the ministers and ruling party leaders to expose anti-Telangana stand of the Central government in public.
KCR mentioned that Telangana’s income increased by three-fold in the last seven years and stood first among all states. “If the Centre had achieved same financial progress for the same period, then Telangana’s GSDP should have increased by another Rs 3 lakh crores,” he explained.
The CM expressed happiness over state registering 15.3% growth rate for the current fiscal despite not getting required funds from the Centre. He appreciated Minister for IT and Industries K. Taraka Rama Rao (KTR) for attracting more investments in IT sector.
