Telangana govt issues preliminary notification for creation of 13 mandals

Hyderabad, July 23: Based on the instructions of Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR), Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar issued a preliminary notification for creation of 13 new mandals in various districts for better administration and governance. 
 
The new mandals are Kothapally and Gundumal in Narayanakhed district, Dudyal of Tandur revenue division in Vikarabad district, Koukuntla in Mahabubnagar district, Aloor of Armur revenue division and Donkeshwar in Nizamabad district. Also, Salora of Bodhan revenue division in Nizamabad district. 
 
It was also decided to declare Nizampet in Sangareddy district as mandal. Gatuppal in Nalgonda district and Serole in Mahabubabad district were included in the list of new mandals. Dongli in Kamareddy district, Endapalli in Jagtial district and Bheemaram of Korutla revenue division in Karimnagar district are set to become new mandals. The Telangana government will issue final notification after scrutinising objections and suggestions received from the people in the next 15 days.
