Kurnool to become judicial capital after Aug 15: Minister Audimulapu Suresh
Kurnool, May 16: Minister for Municipal Administration and Urban Development Audimulapu Suresh on Monday said that Kurnool will become Judicial Capital officially after August 15 as part of three capitals proposed by the YSRCP government. However, he made it clear that it is not an unofficial statement. He mentioned that multinational companies will be setting up their units in Kurnool very soon.
The minister alleged that previous TDP government had indulged in insider trading in Amaravati to benefit a particular community. “My government is committed to three capitals so that development takes place in all regions of the state,” he said and his remarks indicate that the High Court will soon be set up in Kurnool.
Suresh criticised the TDP for fooling the people by showing graphics regarding capital during their rule. The YSRCP government fulfilled 95 per cent poll promises in three years, he said. He further stated that there are 16,000 unauthorised layouts across the state.
