Prashant Kishor to start 3,000 km padayatra from Oct 2 in Bihar
Patna, May 5: Election strategist Prashant Kishor on Thursday said that he has no immediate plan to launch a new political party. However, he announced to start a 3,000-km-long padayatra in Bihar from October 2 in order to meet as many people as possible as part of infusing new thinking and new effort in the minds of people.
Speaking to the media, Prashant mentioned that Bihar is still a poor state. He stated that he wants to meet people with the idea of taking good governance to their door steps. Putting speculations to rest, he ruled out alliance with main political parties in Bihar.
PK said that his team had identified 17,000 people, who want good governance for Bihar. “In the last three days, I met 150 out of 17,000, who belong to various sections of the society,” he mentioned. He furthers said that if he wants to start a political party then it will be a people’s party and not Prashant Kishore’s party.
