Chandrababu angry over RTA officials for forcibly taking away car for CM’s convoy

Leader of the Opposition N. Chandrababu Naidu has expressed anger over RTA officials of Ongole for forcibly taking away a car (Innova) from a family for using it in the CM’s convoy. Vemala Srinivas and his family members have hired a cab from Vinukonda to Tirumala for darshan of Lord Venkateswara. 

On their way, they had stopped for supper at a hotel in Ongole on Wednesday night. The RTA staff approached them and took away the car and its driver for using in the convoy of the CM for an official visit to Ongole on Friday.
 
The entire family was stranded in Ongole till 1 pm in the midnight. Later, they left to temple city in another car. The TDP national president said that forcibly taking away a car from a common man reflects the misrule of the YSRCP government. As criticism poured from several quarters, the state government suspended two officials.
