Actress Praneetha backs Dr Archana of Rajasthan who dies by suicide after a police case

Hyderabad: The suicide of Dr Archana, who was working in a private hospital in Rajasthan, has caused a stir across the country. The Indian Medical Association has expressed deep shock over the death of the doctor. According to reports, a woman died during delivery while her family members lodged a complaint with the police against Dr Archana. 

A police case was registered against her in this regard. However, Archana died by suicide as she felt it was an insult to blame her for the woman's death and left a suicide note stating not to harass innocent doctors.

In this backdrop, actress Praneetha responded in support of Archana. She commented that it was painful for the doctor to end her life to prove her innocence. If one doctor was harassed and 100 other doctors won't come forward to render their services to patients.  Therefore, we should think and stop harassing doctors.  "In this order unfortunately the person you love the most may come to the situation of paying the price for it... this may happen without your knowledge."
