Buzz back at NTR Trust Bhavan, thanks to 40th formation day of TDP
Hyderabad: The NTR Trust Bhavan, the TDP headquarters before the bifurcation of erstwhile Andhra Pradesh, used to be abuzz with party activities with the arrival of scores of party leaders and workers at the office. Even during the night, some events or other party programmes used to be conducted. When compared to other party offices, the NTR Trust Bhavan has special significance in Hyderabad at that time.
However, after the division of Andhra Pradesh into two states, the NTR Trust Bhavan has lost its sheen. Since then, the activities of the NTR Trust have begun to decline. At the same time, key leaders of Telangana joined other parties.
With the election of party chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu as Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister in the 2014 elections and the subsequent transfer of his capital to Amaravati, the situation at NTR Trust Bhavan has further deteriorated.
Recently, in the wake of the TDP's 40th-anniversary celebrations, the NTR Trust Bhavan again became a beehive of party activities. The celebrations were inaugurated by Chandrababu at the NTR Trust Bhavan in which a large number of party leaders and workers not only from Telangana, but also from Andhra Pradesh attended the celebrations.
