Jagan dashes off a letter to PM Modi on Bhogapuram airport

Amaravati:  Chief Minister  YS Jaganmohan Reddy addressed letters to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Ministry of Civil Aviation and the Ministry of Defence. The Andhra Pradesh government has identified a private partner for the development of the Bhogapuram airport and appealed to the Central government for expeditious renewal of the site clearance permit.

He said the permit previously issued by the Department of Civil Aviation had expired and needed to be renewed. He explained that due to the lack of NOC, the work was stalled.

In his letter, Jagan asked the Centre to cooperate for the speedy completion of the Bhogapuram airport. He sought the intervention of the Prime Minister to expedite the sanctioning of permits from the Ministry of Civil Aviation.
