IBC Alt Hack – Vizag 2022 concludes after initiating 300 students to world of Web3.0
~Student participants learnt and interacted with Web3.0 pioneers in a 8 day bootcamp~
Vizag, 24th December: India’s leading blockchain & web ecosystem builder, IBC Media’s Alt Hack 2022 is an initiative to provide students a platform to utilise the powers of Web3.0 and prepare themselves for a rewarding career. The Vizag edition which started on 16th December, concluded successfully today, after initiating over 2000 students in emerging technologies Blockchain & Web3.0 from key industry leaders, training them on the functional and technology stacks and help them come up with path breaking ideas and start building on them.

Students from 75 higher educational institutes learnt from industry experts and Web3.0 pioneer, Polkadot. Alt Hack sessions will enable students to build a culture of Innovation and problem-solving attitude at the college level. The event is backed by the Government of Andhra Pradesh, APIS, Andhra Pradesh Information Technology Academy, and Tech Mahindra.
T Anil Kumar, CEO, AP Innovation Society presided over the concluding event as Chief Guest and was accompanied by Abhishek Pitti, Founder & CEO, IBC Media.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. T Anil Kumar, CEO, APIS, said, “This event has come at the right time for students to hone their skills and fulfil the shortages in Web3.0 developers. The Government is willing to back all such initiatives that help the students and is working together with the industry leaders to achieve the same. We wish to continue our association and look forward to seeing a lot many Web3.0 developers from Andhra Pradesh.”
As many as 25 teams with 200 participants presented their ideas to the judges during the event. The teams were guided by mentors from IBC Media, and they will continue to interact with the students going forward.
Alt Hacks are part of IBC's Education & Certification program - a full cycle program which helps engineering college students migrate from Web 2.0 to Web 3 seamlessly. The program includes orientation, Training & Education, Ideation, Speed Building and a platform for students to present their ideas wherein the Best Idea are awarded certificates by IBC. it is being planned to take the Alt Hack initiative to a larger pool of students, after witnessing the enthusiastic response amongst the students and the teaching community.
In his concluding address, Mr Abhishek Pitti, Founder & CEO, IBC Media, said, “Every year we plan on impacting lakhs of students and provide them a national platform to test their educational learnings in real-world problem-solving. It also aligns their interest toward Innovation and entrepreneurship, and opens new doors for them in the world of Web3.0. Our vision is to make India ready for Web3.0 and when the time comes, we will have the largest trained pool of Web3.0 professionals.”
