CS Somesh Kumar holds a video conference with district collectors
Hyderabad: The Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar,IAS held a video conference with District Collectors, DFOs, Additional Collectors and DPOs from BRKR Bhavan on Friday about the steps to be taken to resolve the issue of Podu lands.
The Chief Secretary said that as per the instructions of the Hon'ble Chief Minister Shri K. Chandrasekhar Rao teams have been formed at Gram Panchayat, Mandal, Division and District level along with FRCs to resolve the issue of Podu lands. He suggested that awareness should be created in the first spell at the village level on the process. He instructed the officials to make available sufficient number of Form-A copies at habitation level to receive claims from villagers and also instructed to give sufficient time to collect filled Form-A claims.
The Chief Secretary instructed that awareness and collecting of Form-A claims should be started from 8th November. He also informed that detailed guidelines have been issued to the officials in this regard. Chief Secretary instructed Collectors to give highest priority to this item of once the claim Forms are filled , Gram Panchayat Teams along FRCs will collect the Forms at habitation level as scheduled notified at District Level.
