Mondelez India Supports COVID-19 relief efforts in Andhra Pradesh

• Oxygen concentrators distributed in the state
• Vaccination drive for employees and their dependents at the company’s Sri City Factory

Andhra Pradesh – August 2, 2021 – As part of the company’s Covid relief efforts across the country, Mondelez India has distributed 91 oxygen concentrators in Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh. The activity was facilitated in the presence of Mr. Anil Kumar Singhal, IAS, Principal Secretary, Health Medical & Family Welfare, Mr. J.V.N. Subramanyam, IAS, Director of Industries, Govt of Andhra Pradesh, Mr. Hari Narayanaswamy, IAS, District collector – Chittoor and Mr. P S Girish, IAS, Municipal Commissioner, Tirupati Municipal Corporation, alongside other dignitaries.

Sri City, Chittoor district in Andhra Pradesh houses Mondelēz International’s largest manufacturing facility in the Asia Pacific region and the company has been consistently working towards community development through various initiatives for several years now.
 
In addition to providing medical equipment to the state, the company has also facilitated vaccination drive for its Sri City factory employees and their dependents.
