Telangana Home Minister reviews ongoing constructions of various District Police Offices
Hyderabad: Mohd Mahmood Ali, Hon’ble Minister for Home reviewed the ongoing constructions of various District Police Office and Commissioner of Police Office buildings in the State on Tuesday in his office chambers at Lakdikapul, Hyderabad. Koleti Damodar, Chairman, TS Police Housing Corporation, Ravi Gupta, Principal Secretary to Govt., Home, M.Mahender Reddy, DG of Police, Rajiv Trivedi, DG., Prisons, Sanjay Kumar Jain, Incharge MD., Police Housing Corporation, Vijay Kumar, CE, PHC, and Tulasidhar Reddy, SE, PHC were present during the review.
During the review, he said that Hon’ble Chief Minister Kalvakuntla Chandrasekhar Rao is very much particular about the earlier completion of the construction of ongoing new buildings for DPOs at Gadwal, Suryapet, Asifabad, Siricilla, Nagarkurnool, Bhupalpally, Wanaparthy, Mahabubabad, Kothagudem, Jagityal and & CPO, Ramagundam as per scheduled time.
Home Minister said that all are aware of the fact that on 20.6.2021, Hon’ble Chief Minister inaugurated the New Buildings for CP Office, Siddipet and DPO, Kamareddy which were constructed with 50000 sft spacious area with needed requirements and infrastructural facilities which are best in the country. Home Minister has told the DGP and Officers present during the review to ensure that the construction of the remaining buildings should be completed strictly as per time frame.
The Home Minister also instructed that eight Residential Quarters each should be constructed for the officers in the premises of ongoing construction of DPO & CPO Buildings and necessary proposals along with estimations should be prepared and sent for necessary administrative sanction. Home Minister has said that the work for construction of New Building for Rachakonda Commissioner at Medipally should be grounded soon after estimations and specifications are approved.
He also asked the officers to finalize and send proposals for the construction of new buildings for DPOs for Narayanapet and Mulugu shall be sent to Govt. at the earliest for administrative sanction. Minister said that proposals being sent by the DG Prisons Rajiv Trivedi for construction of Compound Wall etc. for newly alienated land for construction of Central Prison, Warangal will be finalized as soon as possible. Home Minister instructed the officers to regularly monitor the construction works. He said would also visit the construction spots to inspect the construction activities regularly.
