CS Somesh Kumar holds a meeting with Ayush Doctors
Hyderabad: As per the directions of the Honourable Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar, IAS held a meeting at BRKR Bhavan today with AYUSH Doctors on providing supplementary medication to treat Black Fungus disease.
Chief Secretary said that the Government is taking all the necessary steps to tackle black fungus disease in the state.
Presently, The treatment for the disease is being taken up at Gandhi Hospital and Govt. ENT King Koti.
Ayush doctors briefed Chief Secretary on the treatment protocols available in Ayurvedic, Homeopathi and Unani System of medicine. They informed Chief Secretary that Prophylactic Treatment for the black fungus will be given at Ayurvedic Hospital at Erragadda, Homeopathi Hospital at Ramanthapur and Unani Hospitals at Charminar and Erragadda.
Chief Secretary advised Ayush doctors to create awareness through leaflets and press briefings regularly on treatment available in the Ayush hospitals where patients can approach.

Navin, Prof. K.Rajani Chander, Prof. Ch. Srinivas Reddy of Homeopathy wing, Dr.Suresh Jakhotia, Dr. Praveen Kumar, Dr. Sailesh Nath Saxena of Ayurvedic wing, Prof. Bokhari, Prof. Salahuddin, Dr.M.H.Kazmi, Dr. Minhajuddin of Unani wing and other senior officials were present.
