CS Somesh Kumar visits Tahasildar office at Shamshabad
Hyderabad: Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar, IAS., today informed that registrations of agricultural properties through Dharani started all over the State successfully. He visited Tahasildar office at Shamshabad to oversee the registration of agricultural properties and handed over the first registered copies to the individual who made gift deed on his wife’s name.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that the Honourable Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao launched Dharani portal on 29th of last month to provide corruption-free and hassle-free registration services to the farmers. He said that 946 members paid money towards registrations while 888 members booked slot today. He said that slots can also be booked at Mee Seva centres by paying 200 rupees. The government will make a decision on pending mutations shortly, he added.
Explaining the salient features of Dharani, Chief Secretary said that it is an easiest, simple, transparent and corruption-free system. Registration and mutation to be done at a time without any discretion and corruption. Registration to be done by aadhar authentication of the buyer, seller, witness with biometric attendance. Four types of registrations - Sale deed, Gift deed, succession and partition will be done under Dharani. Those with smartphones can also book slot under Dharani. If any problem arises due to fingerprint then registration can be done through eyesight. Slot booking can also be done through bank payment. Computer-generated registration documents will be given to the citizens
He said that based on the reports coming from the districts registrations started at all places. The technical issues will be resolved by technical teams within 2 to 3 days.
He informed that Hon’ble Chief Minister will announce a date on the registrations of Non-agricultural lands. Special tribunals will be set up for pending applications.
