Govt’s action on junior docs is painful - Pawan Kalyan

We strongly condemn the attitude of Government machinery towards the junior doctors, who were fighting against the National Medical Commission (NMC) Bill. It is unfortunate that the agitating junior doctors have been handled very badly as they were kicked and manhandled in an inhuman manner. It is unfair on the part of the government machinery towards the youth who are practising medical education with their talent and moreover the junior doctors are extending enormous services to the poor people in the government hospitals.

Instead of responding to their demand to solve it, it is unjust to attack them. It is the responsibility of the government to hold a dialogue on the agitation of junior doctors and the doctors over the NMC Bill. The government shall take immediate steps over the incidents that took place in Vijayawada and Tirupati and make efforts to in still confidence among the young doctors and medical students.
