Telangana Home Minister participates in Haritha Haram along with DGP and other police officers
Mohd Mahmood Ali, Minister for Home participated in a program held at Goshamahal Stadium in Hyderabad on Thursday as a part of the sixth phase of Harithaharam. DGP M.Mahender Reddy, Hyderabad police commissioner Anjani Kumar and other police officers participated in the program organized on behalf of the police department. Home Minister, DGP and other police officers planted different kinds of plants on this occasion. Later, the Home Minister said the Harithaharam program was launched by the state chief minister in 2015. The state is aiming to increase the number of plants in the state and 30 crore plants is this year's target. Tractors and tankers to the village panchayats are being allotted and the planting of the plants is to be maintained effectively. Minister said that The Chief Minister is inaugurating the program in Narsapur of Medak district. Staff members of all departments are urged to undertake a wider planting program. He said that all the plants are being distributed by the Forest Department and they are distributing these plants free of charge. The home minister said that people should plant a wider range of plants while protecting themselves from the pandemic corona.
