K.Keshava Rao launches the Logo of PV Centenary Celebrations
“P.V. Narasimha Rao is a multi-faceted genius who played many roles as a freedom fighter, Politician, Scholar, Linguist, Author, Statesman, and Administrator at various stages of his life. By one or the other reason, His versatility and vividity are under-rated so far. The Government of Telangana, with the instructions of Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao, has decided to organize a year-long celebration on the contribution of Late P.V. Narasimha Rao in connection with his Centenary year 2020-2021”. Said K. Keshava Rao, M.P. and Chairman of P.V. Narasimha Rao Centenary Celebrations Committee in a press meet held on 25.06.2020 at 11.40 am in Kala Bhavan, Ravindra Bharathi. “The Administrative and economic reforms introduced by P.V. Narasimha Rao as the Chief Minister and Prime Minister are noteworthy and created a paradigm shift in the State and in Nation”, he added.
K. Keshava Rao, while launching the logo of Centenary Celebrations of P.V. Narasimha Rao, said “the yearlong activities will be organized at State, National level also by involving all the important persons by constituting various Committees”
B. Vinod Kumar, Vice-chairman, State Planning Commission had praised P.V. Narasimha Rao as the first leader from south India to rule the Indian sub-continent, who expanded the glory and grandeur of Telangana and South India to the national and International Level.
The logo launching program was participated by Rajiv Sharma, IAS (R)., Chief Advisor to Government, Dr. K.V. Ramanachary, IAS., (R), Advisor to Government, Tankashala Ashok, Advisor to Government and paid floral tributes to the portrait of late PV Narasimha Rao. K. Seetharama Rao, Former Vice-chancellor, Deshapathi Srinivas, OSD to Chief Minister, Mamidi Harikrishna, Director of Culture were also present in the meeting apart from Vani Devi, Prabhakar Rao, family members of Late P.V. Narasimha Rao.
