  Digital Health Profile Card for all in Telangana soon 

 Speed up the payment of Arogyasri bills 

 Focus on providing all services in AIIMS at Bibi Nagar.

Honourable Chief Minister Sri A Revanth Reddy has ordered the officials to prepare a digital health profile for everyone in the Telangana state and take adequate measures for it. The CM suggested linking the digital health profile card with a unique number which will enable it to provide required treatment in emergency situations. The health profile card will also be linked with Arogyasri card.

The Chief Minister discussed the issue of removing the mandated requirement of white ration card to avail the Arogyasri benefit. Due to this provision, the number of people demanding for new white ration cards increased abnormally in the state. The officials are directed to bring in a common policy under which the Nursing, Physiotherapy and Para medical colleges are being established in the premises of the Medical colleges soon.

CM Revanth Reddy held a high-level review on the functioning of the Medical and Health Department at the Secretariat today ( Monday). Health Minister Damodara Raja Narasimha, State Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari, Principal Secretary to CM Seshadri, Joint Secretary to CM Sangeeta Satyanarayana, Health Secretary Christina Chongthu, Commissioner Karnan, Director General of Drug Control Kamalahasan Reddy, Arogyasri CEO Visalatchy and other officials participated in the meeting. The CM ordered the completion of the construction of TIMS Super Specialty Hospitals in Warangal, LB Nagar, Sanath Nagar and Alwal on a war footing. The Chief Minister said that medical colleges should be linked to hospitals so that there is no shortage of doctors.

 CM Revanth inquired about the details of medical, nursing and para-medical colleges in the state which are yet to be started. The CM suggested to the officials to look into setting up a Medical college and a Nursing college in Kodangal. The Chief Minister said that complete medical services should be made available at Bibinagar –AIIMS which will also benefit the people of Khammam, Warangal and Nalgonda districts . The complete functioning of the AIIMS will also reduce a burden on Osmania and NIMS hospitals. The CM ordered the officials to visit AIIMS and prepare a complete report. CM Revanth said that he will also meet the union Health minister , if necessary, and explain the necessity of providing full medical services in the AIIMS.

The Chief Minister asked the officials to develop alternative facilities so that people of all parts of the state should not rely only on Hyderabad for medical treatment. Area wise better medical treatment facilities should be developed and provide the best medical care to the people. The CM suggested to the officials to continue the Arogyasri services in the concerned medical colleges.

The officials informed the CM about the problems being faced in the expansion of Osmania Hospital. CM Revanth Reddy said that Osmania hospital building is a Heritage building and the issue is pending before the court and the government will take a decision as to how to proceed as per the directions of the court.

The Chief Minister instructed the officials to ensure the big Pharma companies should use their CSR funds to improve housekeeping and maintenance services in the government hospitals. The officials are directed to start this as a pilot project in one of the Osmania and Gandhi hospitals.

The CM discussed with the officials regarding the implementation of Arogyasri and the availability of funds to implement the health scheme. The officials have been asked to clear the Arogyasri bills of the government hospitals every month. The officials are directed to enter into an agreement with Private Hospitals for the release of Arogyasri bills every three months. The CM ordered the officials to release the pending Rs 270 crore Arogyasri bills for government hospitals and teaching hospitals affiliated to government medical colleges immediately. The salaries of junior doctors, Asha workers and staff nurses will also be paid regularly every month. The Chief Minister inquired about the performance of 108 and 102 services and directed the officials to ensure that better services are provided to the people.
