Amit Shah takes solemn vow to make the next Telangana CM from backward class
Union Home Minister Amit Shah asserted in a recent address at the Jana Garjana Sabha in Suryapet that the next Chief Minister of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Telangana will be from a backward caste. Shah highlighted that the BJP, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, holds the key to transforming Telangana into a developed state, contrasting it with the alleged self-serving agendas of the BRS and Congress.
Shah emphasized, "The BJP prioritizes the welfare of the poor, while KCR's party and Congress are fixated on promoting nepotism. The latter's dynastic inclinations hinder their ability to contribute meaningfully to Telangana's progress." He questioned the unfulfilled promises of the incumbent government, pointing to the unmaterialized commitments for Dalit empowerment and the state's overall development.
Expressing his confidence in the BJP's potential, Amit Shah urged the people of Telangana to support the party in forming the state government. He criticized the current leadership, labelling the BRS as "anti-poor, anti-dalit, and anti-OBC," and underscored the BJP's commitment to the welfare of marginalized communities.
Shah also drew attention to Prime Minister Modi's initiatives for the region, including the establishment of the National Commission of Backward Castes and the National Tribal University at Mulug. He further highlighted the development projects and financial aid provided by the central government for various welfare programs in Telangana.
Reiterating the significance of the upcoming Ram Temple inauguration in Ayodhya, Shah called upon the public to witness the historic event. Additionally, Telangana BJP president G. Kishan Reddy outlined the party's vision for the state, promising corruption-free governance, and the implementation of crucial developmental projects, including an industrial corridor between Hyderabad and Vijayawada.
Moreover, Shah emphasized PM Modi's role in revitalizing the Krishna Water Dispute Tribunal to resolve water conflicts with the neighboring state. He underlined the significant financial support extended by the central government to Telangana in the past nine years, facilitating the construction of toilets, the provision of piped drinking water, and the distribution of free foodgrains to the underprivileged. Additionally, he highlighted the Kisan Nidhi scheme providing ₹6,000 annually to every farmer.
Shah's firm stance echoed the BJP's unwavering commitment to uplifting the state and ensuring equitable progress for all sections of society. With the upcoming elections drawing near, the stage is set for a fierce political battle, with the BJP determined to carve a path toward a prosperous and inclusive future for Telangana.
