Chief Minister KCR commemorated Maharshi Valmiki, on the occasion of Mahakavi's Jayanti

Chief Minister Sri K. Chandrashekhar Rao commemorated Maharshi Valmiki, on the occasion of Mahakavi's Jayanti ( Birth anniversary). CM KCR said that the adage "Sadhanath Sadhyate Sarvam" (Nothing is impossible if practiced) is proof of how a common man transformed as Valmiki, became a sage.


Chief Minister said that Ramayana Mahakavyam written by Maharishi Valmiki is an affirmation for Indian social philosophy, family responsibilities and a ruler's sacrifice for public.

CM KCR said that the teachings of high ideals and humanitarian values have been beautifully presented to the world through Ramayana and Valmiki remained as a aadi Kavi' - the first 'poet. Chief Minister said that, Ramayana, which exemplified
the life of Sitarama, is cherished by the world as a wonderful and great Epic.
