While 85% of the passenger moment in India is managed by Private Operator, there is a lack of awareness, infrastructure, regulatory framework and more. Bus & Car Operators Confederation of India has more than 20,000 members through its network of associations of 36 States & UTs, and we demand that the sector should get Industry Status, Priority Funding, World-class infrastructure, taxation relief, Uniform regulations and priority to Passenger Transport.

Through Prawaas 3.0 we are getting all those matter for Public Transport onto a single platform so that we can create a better roadmap for the growth of this sector”, said Prasanna Patwardhan, President, Bus & Car Operators Confederation of India (BOCI).
