Telangana CS holds a meeting with officials on COVID
Hyderabad: Government is working to make Hyderabad a 100% Covid vaccinated city in the next 10-15 days. As part of this, Chief Secretary to Government Somesh Kumar,IAS spoke at a workshop held on Thursday at BRKR Bhavan with the Secretary, Department of Medical Health, GHMC Commissioner, Collectors of 4 Districts under GHMC, GHMC Zonal Commissioners, Deputy Commissioners, DMHOs and SPHOs.
Chief Secretary suggested that the GHMC, Health officials and field staff should work in close coordination to make all the colonies in the city 100% vaccinated colonies. He instructed Medical and Municipal Staff to survey every house hold and mop up the eligible people over the age of 18 to be vaccinated. He asked that the exercise be carried out in mission mode.
He said there was a good response to the mobile vaccination program in GHMC. In the same manner, he said, teams should be formed on a colony-wise basis with man power and material to vaccinate left over persons.
