Ab Inbev India aids communities battling Covid-19 with essential ration kits
- AB InBev supports more than 2000 families from 11 villages in and around their Crown and Charminar breweries in Sangareddy district of Telangana with essential ration kits consisting of food and sanitation supplies
AB InBev India is working with local authorities and medical officials closely to support the affected communities in the Sangareddy district of Telangana. Earlier this month, the world’s leading brewer committed more than 300 oxygen concentrators, 8000+ essential aid kits to Covid-19 affected families, over 5,00,000 masks, 5000+ test kits in 50 villages across the country.
“We have a strong history of supporting our communities and stand in solidarity with them in times of adversity. The health and safety of our communities and people continue to be our top priority. We understand that our business is not independent from society and through our continued support to the communities, state governments and authorities, we look forward to emerging triumphant in this war against Covid-19. We are all in this together,” said Anasuya Ray, Vice President Corporate Affairs – South Asia, AB InBev.
Last year, AB InBev impacted more than 15 lakh frontline workers across Delhi, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka, Telangana and Haryana by providing more than 250,000 bottles of hand sanitizers, 3750 PPE Kits and 25,000 FFP2 masks.
