CS Somesh Kumar holds review meeting on e-Health modules with officials
Hyderabad: As per the vision of Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao, Somesh Kumar, IAS., Chief Secretary, Govt. of Telangana directed the officials to initiate steps to use information technology to improve the quality of health services to the patients in the State.
Today Chief Secretary held a review meeting in BRKR Bhavan with Health officials on various information technology initiatives. Chief Secretary advised that the applications must be simple to use and must not only improve efficiency and effectiveness of service delivery but also serve as decision support systems and planning tools.
Chief Secretary asked all HoDs of Health department to review the regulatory functions discharged by them and in a time-bound manner to come up with a detailed analysis of processes along with suggested measures for simplification, ease of compliance, and increasing transparency.
