Telangana CS chaires the first meeting of state level steering committee for Covid-19 vaccine

Hyderabad: Somesh Kumar, IAS, Chief Secretary, Government of Telangana directed the officials to prepare a database of front line Health workers, Police Personnel and Sanitation workers to cover on priority under COVID-19 vaccination in the State.

1st Meeting of State Level Steering Committee was held under the Chairmanship of the Chief Secretary at BRKR Bhavan today. The Committee discussed the preparedness of COVID-19 vaccination in the State.
 
Chief Secretary asked the departments to work in a coordinated way and make systematic arrangements for the first phase of vaccination of COVID-19. He reviewed the logistical arrangements, transportation, training of Health Staff, Cold chain facilities, IEC campaign, mapping of Health facilities, etc. Chief Secretary also directed officials to prepare a protocol for the vaccination centers.

Somesh Kumar, IAS., Chief Secretary to Govt. participated in a Video Conference held by Secretary, GoI regarding Supreme Court Committee on Road Safety:
The Supreme Court Committee on Road Safety expressed satisfaction over the presentation made by the state government on road safety. They directed the authorities to further strengthen the measures to bring down road accidents and decrease fatalities in the state.  The Supreme Court committee headed by Justice Abhay Manohar Sapre convened a virtual meeting on road safety today to review the road safety interventions taken up by the state government.

Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar IAS informed the committee members that a meeting with all the stakeholders will be convened on 11th of this month to discuss issues relating to further strengthening road safety measures to minimize the accidents in the state.
