Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has mourned the death of retired IAS officer V Bhaskar. The CM recalled the services rendered by Bhaskar in various capacities as Collector, as head of Commercial Taxes, as Special Chief Secretary (Finance), as Chairman AP Electrical Regulatory Authority etc. in the united AP. The CM has conveyed his condolences to the members of the bereaved family.

Governor Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan has expressed her deep condolences at the passing away of retired IAS officer V. Bhaskar, who is united AP Cadre Officer of the 1981 batch.

She said that the departed officer rendered great services to the united Andhra Pradesh and his services in the capacity of special chief secretary, finance department, and in various other postings were immensely invaluable for the all-round development of the state.

The Governor conveyed her heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family members.
