CM KCR conveyed greetings to the Muslim community on the eve of Bakrid

Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao conveyed greetings to the Muslim community on the eve of Bakrid (Id-Ul-Zuha). In a message the CM has stated that it's a festival of sacrifice and reminds everyone to follow the noble teachings of the prophet and imbibe the spirit of sacrifice, compassion and tolerance for fellow beings during these days of COVID-19.

Governor Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan’s message on the occasion of BAKRID on 01.08.2020:

"I extend my special wishes and greetings on the auspicious occasion of Bakrid festival. The festival of Bakrid symbolises selfless sacrifice and supreme devotion to the almighty. The Bakrid has a special place in Islamic faith and also promotes the spirit of sharing and charity with great reverence.

I wish you all a very happy Bakrid and appeal to you all to celebrate the festival in a safe manner by staying at home and taking all necessary precautions against the pandemic COVID-19".
