We stay support to the victims of LG Polymers: Pawan Kalyan

"I can understand how the villagers of RR Venkatapuram in Visakhapatnam district are frightened and how they are in deep concern with different health issues after missing their near and dear. It has come to my notice that apart from RR Venkatapuram people of Padmanabhanagar, Venkatapuram, SC, BC Colony, and Nandamuri Nagar have become panic anticipating a threat from this industry. People of these villages have written a letter demanding shifting of the plant from the existing place and informing other issues. Janasena Party will stay support to the people of the affected villages of LG Polymers and it will accompany them till they get justice.

Petro and other chemical-related industries must always be cautious with more responsibility by following the safety measures. The people informed that even the alarm in LG Polymers did not function to sound danger warnings to the villagers. It is the responsibility of the government to take stern action against the company which has acted negligently towards the protection of the people. The local people are outrageous and deeply concerned as they strongly believe that the government is backing the industry to save it. They sought immediate shifting of the industry as it became a threat to their villages and steps must be initiated to take the health information of the people to provide them lifetime medical treatment to all the affected people. The government must take measures to resolve the justifiable demands of the villagers." Pawan Kalyan said in a statement.
