We will support till rape victim of Mandapeta gets justice: Nadendla Manohar

'It is a most pathetic incident in which a degree student of Mandapeta in East Godavari district was gang-raped. My heart is broken when I knew the pain of the Scheduled Caste girl. Knowing the incident, Janasena Party President Pawan Kalyan has expressed shock. It is brought to the notice of the party that the official machinery is dilly-dallying to register a case against the four human beasts, who gang-raped her. Cases have been filed after Janasena Party leaders and cadre extended support to the victim.

Janasena Party will extend complete support till the victim gets justice. Why are the rulers who always claim that they brought in laws to protect the women against rapes, not showing interest to implement the laws? It is saddened to note that the administration is hesitating to file cases against the culprits who committed gangrape against the SC student. The government must show its commitment to implement the laws apart from introducing them. The State Women’s Commission must extend a helping hand to the rape victim immediately'. Nadendla Manohar said in a statement.
